This Aquarian Life

Not that we expected to have fully collected ourselves after that last eclipse - and - here comes more astrology. (Yes, we know, there is always astrology but this is one not to miss.) Jupiter trines Saturn, and we have an invitation to actually build some structures for our soaring beliefs and optimistic thoughts. It’s a good time then to examine our beliefs conscious or not - and for which ones do we really want to build a house? We are also in a Virgo moment, and with an upcoming Venus retrograde, might be a good time to take inventory of all the gifts and talents and resources we have to help along the way too.  Be courageous! As our Dolly Godmother once advised, “you’ll never do a whole lot unless you you’re brave enough to try.”  We promise you won’t spontaneously combust - but maybe just stay away from the lighter fluid if you’re really, really worried about that sort of consequence.

This is how an eclipse wormhole feels. There’s just a little bit more energy and disruption loosening the gears and things feels a little more malleable…or chaotic. Which really just means there’s more moving parts and the spin is a little more spinnier. Especially in a mutable sign like Pisces. Go in and change up the benefits of your dream - or - you can even quit this particular dream altogether and walk yourself out of the movie theatre. The choice - as ever - is for you to freely make.

Any good astrologer will tell you no fast moves in an eclipse wormhole – so we make the conversation real easy and observational cuz the topics are heavy enough: death, past memories that are maybe best incinerated, parents and aging, praan sutras, clean bills of health (for now?) Leggo my ego Leo! Leogo? Thanatos and Ash. 
 
We cut the density with some fond nostalgia – there’s stuff worth keeping around if not reinvesting! This is about taking a big bite out of the juicy middle, while our souls spiral onward and upward as the brilliant white nebulas that we truly are.

Welcome to Eclipse Season! We are your hosts for all things astrological and disruptive! Before we get too distracted by any of the obvious ecliptic, we wanted to single out our ally and companion, quietly doing the work of love, balance, right relationship, beauty and grace: Venus in Libra. Because typically - the woman’s work is always overlooked and overshadowed by the combustive eclipse and made up numerological Lion’s Gate. Just sayin. We also talk about (of course) Gene Keys, Divine Feminine, our buddy Lisa Lister and her fabulous book “Venus,” mirror work, and the body as an entire sensory system and organism. Blessed Lughnasadh, a day where we give thanks for things not being worse. Our conversion takes us through probing questions of free will, past / present / future timelines, and can we make a quantum leap without some devastating crisis opening up the portal of opportunity? We celebrate our teacher and friend Guru Jagat who shed her mortal coil also on this day, but her naad and cackle will forever haunt the halls of our present realities. It’s never too late to have a happy childhood - or acting career - or argument from earlier in the day. 
Other topics we may or may not have more clarity on: quantum leaps, synchronicities you might have to travel to, real actual knife wounds, that Glastonbury yatra, the pure of heart of even the people you don’t like, and we learn new words like chatoyancy and yerzhite.
It’s a longer pod - but not as long as the 24 hour candle we can all light for ourselves and our loved ones that alighted to that heavenly realm. Or rather, integrated.

There is CERNtainly a lot of astrology kicking into high gear this summer and Joanna breaks it down for all of us to understand a little better. We didn’t mean to leave you hanging since our last podcast in December 2024.  And it turns out no one really missed much - 2025 wasn’t exactly a year many of us would care to remember. And! It had its moments.  Really through, we just thought it might be nice to start recording our conversations again. 
In this episode while we talk the usual astrology, crystals, Gene Keys and yoga talk, we of course apply it to our own personal lives and circumstances and how we walk the walks. It might just be this way for a while, so can we actually enjoy our survival mode? Upgrade it? Celebrate the wins and not get too ahead of ourselves and great expectations?

If we have learned anything in this life of Truth or Consequences, it’s that even the most Careless Whisper is getting recorded on some distant (or not so distant) star in space - or in a memory file - or deep in a subconscious junk mail box clogging up a chakra that’s basically going to show itself in every day life. 
So that’s fun, right? And that’s not to say we should all be paranoid that everything we say and do is going to have some sort of effect - even though it will - spoiler - but - if anything - we can be reminded as to how powerful we actually are as creative beings. 
We do matter - in all of our thoughts and actions and words and things done and undone. It matters. So what does everyone want to have a bigger experience of? Do we want to lift off from a terrain of love and joy and creativity or squishy fearful victim-y reactions? And are we willing to take responsibility for the actual experience we’re having? Are we willing to make the necessary changes in our thoughts and actions if we’re not loving said experience?  It’s a Sag New Moon! Dream big! Go for the wild unknown! Draw those fiery arrows and aim for the Sun!  
And don’t be afraid to travel intercontinentally (big Sag vibes there) to wipe your brain (and any other body parts) of the muck and grime that’s clogging those chakras, holding you back from the brilliant and wildly optimistic visions Jupiter wants you to GET. Really really really. Jupiter wants it wicked bad for you. (Someone’s from Boston.)
