This Week At the Multiplex

Solar Return to the 80’s

In case you’re wondering why the excessive length of this particular episode - we can only say that when the intention of discussing a solar return birth chart is preceded by a swift deep dive into the 80’s, Gen X, the Brat Pack ET CETERA…you get a very lively double helix strand of conversation that truly stretches into infinity.  A CHALLAH if you will. An endless summer challah. We could’ve named this “My Dinner with Andrea” or “Joanna Explains it All” but we didn’t, did we. Hey, we kept it under two hours.

Happy Cancer New Moon from your mistresses of mirth, intention setting, emotional narratives and a friendly reminder to never give anyone the keys to your unhappiness. If the feels get a little too feelsy and the thoughts springing out of them create a drama you are not interested in playing in - there are tricks to get out of that. At the very least, here in the Northern Hemisphere, it’s summer. Go outside and play.

Light as a Feather Stiff as a Board

We begin on the topic of readings, and psychics, and then somehow get on the topic of After School Specials and the dangers of PCP as dramatized by the teenaged and future Oscar Winner Helen Hunt. While Andrea was advised never to use an Ouija board, Joanna had some good times in summer boarding school with the child ghost of Exeter. All to say, we live in a multiverse with many access points. Nobody knows you better than you, and hearing a different, outside perspective should really only help you see more of the big picture. And for the love of young child actors of the 80s - don’t do crack.
